Nicole Lee: Qigong teacher, mentor and devotee

I’m passionate about modern Qigong practices — sharing this ancient healing art in a way that’s accessible for our often-busy modern lifestyles

I love working with people who want to live a wholehearted, embodied and actualised life. I believe that preventative self-care and lifestyle-based medicine provide the ultimate pathway to healing and creating a purposeful, connected and joy-filled life.

During my many years as a Qigong teacher, I’ve repeatedly seen this gentle practice transform lives — physically, mentally and emotionally.

This is me… Nicole Lee – internationally certified Qigong teacher, trained in both Modern and Classical Qigong styles

I’m also accredited in meditation, mindfulness, energy healing and craniosacral therapy, and have a Bachelor's Degree in Complementary Medicine.

My Qigong journey began in 2013. Since then, I have taught literally hundreds of Qigong classes and workshops. I now share Qigong primarily through my Qigong Teacher Training program and with people on a 1:1 basis.

My personal Qigong journey

I grew up in a household that had conflict, anxiety, emotional suppression and little open, loving communication.

As an adult, this led to over-functioning, perfectionism and disconnecton from my true self, needs and desires. Emotional dysregulation was a constant in my life.

Discovering Qigong was a turning point. It helped me reconnect with my body, mind, and spirit. As I dove deeper, I found a framework to better understand myself, manage my anxiety and hypervigilance, and regulate my nervous system — allowing me to reconnect with who I really am.

And now, as I teach Qigong, I find that guiding others reinforces my own learning, growth and healing journey.

My professional Qigong qualifications & mentors

I’ve studied Qigong form and philosophy with multiple masters and teachers, consistently for more than a decade. My own personal style has evolved as I have, my core influences and teachers are Master Wang Zhi Peng, Lee Holden, Kenneth Cohen, Roger Janke and Damo Mitchell.

I’ve completed training and education through Endeavour College, Chinese Health Qigong Association, Tai Chi Fitness Australia, Gawler Foundation, Australian Fitness Academy and Craniosacral Institute Australia.

I am a professional member of Wushu Tai Chi Qigong (WTCQ) Australia, Meditation Association of Australia and the International Institute of Complementary Therapists (IICT). I deliver my services in alignment with ethical principles, and I’m dedicated to purposeful work and ongoing personal and professional development.

I currently work from the quietude, spaciousness and sandy beaches of Bass Coast, Victoria, Australia, teaching students both locally and worldwide.

I’m most passionate about living an embodied and rich life, connecting deeply and sharing passionately.

In my life before Qigong I worked in property, business management and outdoor recreation… it's been quite a ride. I left these former careers in search of something I’d feel excited about sharing with the world each day.

Qigong is that thing!

While I advocate a modern and accessible approach to this amazing modality, I’m also focused on ensuring the essence and integrity of this practice is honoured and expressed.

In addition to Qigong, I’m passionate about the slow living lifestyle, home cooking, nature and sunshine.

Fun facts about me…

I start my day with...

You thought I’d say Qigong, right? … Nope — coffee! I like it bulletproof style.

The most awesome place I’ve practiced Qigong is...

Very high up, upon a rock, at Yosemite National Park in the USA.

In my past life, I used to...

Pump petrol, manage high rise buildings, administer accounts, sell pet food, deliver pamphlets, guide canoeing, organise events, and no doubt a few other things in between!

Other than Qigong, you’ll find me...

Walking in nature. Two of my most favourite hikes have been the Camino de Santiago in Spain and La Ciudad Perdida in Colombia. My local playground here in South Gippsland, Victoria, is Wilsons Promontory.

Things I love...

Scented roses, birdsong, my fur and feathered family, knitting, growing vegetables, sleep.

Let me guide you home
